Day 1: Travel to Volcanoes National Park – Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari
Upon arriving at the airport or being picked up from your hotel, you’ll set off on a brief city tour of Kigali. Discover key historical and cultural sites, including the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center, local craft markets, Kandt National Museum, and the Presidential Museum. Day 2: Rwanda Gorilla Tracking in Volcanoes National Park
After an early breakfast, your driver guide will transfer you to the briefing area for your gorilla trek. While waiting for everyone to gather, enjoy traditional Rwandan dances and a hot cup of Rwandan coffee. The ranger guide will brief you on what to expect during the trek and will divide participants into different trekking groups. Depending on the location of the allocated gorilla family, you will be transferred to the trailhead.
In the afternoon, relax and recuperate from the gorilla trekking experience or opt for an additional activity such as visiting the Musanze Caves or the twin lakes.
