Owino is the biggest outdoor market in Uganda and whole Africa with more than 800,000 vendors.
There is also a documentary made about this market titled “Heart of Kampala”.

You should be aware of pickpockets but you will have no bad experience as long as you are with our guide,believe me.

Ugandans are soccer crazy. Avoid time when Premiership matches are on – Ugandans are great soccer fans and the place will be full, you could even get in trouble wearing a wrong t-shirt. Do not appear to support any team, do not yell when any team scores, Ugandans do not mind fighting for teams they simply watch playing on Television.
